Sweet potato fries are underestimated by many people because well...they're sweet potatoes. BUT, I encourage you to give them a try! The crunchier the better and I use a secret ingredient to enhance the crispness...cornstarch.
When it comes to dips for your sweet potato fries, you have many options. My favorite is either ranch or BBQ sauce, but other options include guacamole, cilantro lime dressing, or of course just ketchup.
What you will need:
-Air fryer* (see link below for the one I use)
-1 large sweet potato
-1 tablespoon of corn starch
-2 tablespoons of olive oil
-pinch of garlic salt and pepper
1.) Cut sweet potato into fries.
2.) In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil, pepper and corn starch (do not add salt just yet).
3.) Place fries in air fryer without overcrowding.
4.) Cook in air fryer for 12 mins at 400 degrees.
4.) Add garlic salt immediately after fries are done and toss again.
5.) Let cool and enjoy!
